Who would benefit if God answers your prayer?

Pop Christian artist Tauren Wells told a story about a conversation he had with his pastor. His pastor asked him, if God answered all your prayers would anyone benefit beside you? It is an interesting question to ponder, who are you praying for?

So far we have address how to pray, let’s talk about when to pray and what to pray for. Let’s discuss who to pray for this week. Prayer is meant to be a personal conversation between you and the Lord so it is completely ok to ask for God to intercede on your behalf. At the same time, if all your prayers were answered this very day… you should not be the only one who benefits.

We live in strange times and opinions are not something we are short on. Have you ever considered that it is a better use of time to pray for God to strengthen the decision making of that politician you are frustrated with? We all want to see our church grow… do we pray for it? Do we whole heartedly get on our knees and ask God to help us touch our friends and family who do not know him? Pray big, so big that when your prayer is answered you know ONLY God could have provided the answer!
